A new devotional song released today on iTunes – Feed Me With Your Love – is like a prayer.
I wrote it for an Agape Supper and recorded it at VIP Lounge in the summer.

View over to Ypres
The sun came out just at the right time to give a perfect view over the landscape to Ypres. I’m standing on Hill 62. Sanctuary Wood is down on my right where I visited the trenches on my last trip. Another emotive time. My song, Other Mothers’ Sons was played over the Remembrance weekend in some churches and on Radio Cornwall.
Later this month I return to Flanders and Tyne Cot Cemetary. It was there that I was moved to write the words “Other mothers’ sons – I’ve seen their names as petals fell in tears of rain”. The song had its first airplay on Radio Cornwall today. You can find out all about it here, including links to download the song from iTunes.

I was inspired to write “Other Mothers’ Sons” after a trip to Flanders earlier this year. I was saddened by the extensive loss of life on all sides, and couldn’t help thinking of my own sons – that in another time I might have been reading their names on the white gravestones in the military cemeteries. The song takes us on a journey of sadness but moves through reconciliation, a prayer for peace and hope for the future.
My hope is that many people will download the MP3 from iTunes! You can watch the video on YouTube.

People dropped in all through Monday to enjoy the experience of creating with clay. Many pots were made, tiles, a cat, a horse, a break dancer, a beautiful angel, and other things. Thank you, Maggi, for all your help.
Most of the work is in the kiln and should be ready for collection by Friday.
